Overview
Solairus Aviation is hiring a full-time Gulfstream G650ER Client Aviation Manager to lead a flight department based at San José Mineta International Airport (KSJC). The position is on call and requires residence within two hours of the base or willingness to relocate. The manager oversees crew and maintenance training, schedules, records and day-to-day operations for the assigned flight department. The role requires proven aviation leadership, a Gulfstream G650 type rating and a first-class medical.
Responsibilities
- Supervise personnel and maintain compliance with FAA and company manuals.
- Coordinate crew training, maintenance and test flights, and departmental scheduling.
- Oversee client coordination, training currency, flight-time records and safety management.
Requirements
- At least 3,000 total flight hours, 1,500 PIC and 1,500 multi-engine land hours.
- At least 500 multi-engine land PIC, 500 turbojet and 250 instrument hours.
- Hold a Gulfstream G650 type rating and a first-class medical.
- Bring demonstrated management and leadership experience, including operations training and budget management.
- NBAA CAM certification or other applicable leadership training is preferred.
- Be available on call and able to complete annual ICAO international-procedures training.
- Live within two hours of the base or be willing to relocate.
