Overview
Solairus Aviation is hiring a full-time Gulfstream G550 Captain for a private aviation operation based at Fort Worth Alliance Airport (KAFW). The position is on call and requires residence within two hours of the base or willingness to relocate. The captain is responsible for operating the Gulfstream G550 safely, overseeing flight preparation and maintenance status, and completing each mission in accordance with FAA requirements and company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Command the assigned aircraft and oversee safe, compliant flight operations.
- Review maintenance status, complete preflight checks, and assess weather, airports and alternates.
- Protect passenger and crew safety and complete required trip documentation.
Requirements
- At least 3,000 total flight hours, 1,500 PIC and 1,500 multi-engine land hours.
- At least 500 multi-engine land PIC, 500 turbojet and 250 instrument hours.
- Hold a Gulfstream G550 or comparable aircraft type rating and a first-class medical.
- Be available on call and able to complete annual ICAO international-procedures training.
- Live within two hours of the base or be willing to relocate.
