Overview
PAL Airlines is hiring Direct Entry Captains and First Officers for scheduled and charter flying. The operation includes Dash 8-100, Dash 8-300 and Dash 8-Q400 aircraft. The advertised bases are Halifax, Montreal and St. John's. Applicants can indicate their qualifications and preferences in the shared application.
Responsibilities
- Operate as Direct Entry Captain or First Officer within PAL Airlines' Dash 8 flight operation.
- Support safe flight operations and customer service across the airline's scheduled and charter network.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot Licence, Group 1 Instrument Rating, multiengine rating and Class 1 medical certificate.
- Hold a valid ATPL, or have passed SAMRA and SARON, or have passed IATRA in the past two years. Direct Entry Captains must hold an ATPL.
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada and able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card.
- Hold a current passport at hire, be able to travel to the United States without restriction and be able to obtain and maintain a C-1/D crew visa.
- Have completed high school and meet Transport Canada English proficiency level 4.
- A Canadian ATPL and two-crew multiengine turbine experience are preferred.
