Overview
Challenge Group is hiring a Boeing 777 First Officer for cargo operations from Luqa, Malta. The pilot supports safe and efficient flight execution by completing preflight checks, monitoring aircraft systems, weather, traffic and position, communicating with air traffic control and preparing flight and aircraft-status reports. Candidates need a valid EASA ATPL or CPL, an EASA Part-MED Class 1 medical and ICAO English level 4 or higher. An aviation, aircraft-engineering or related degree is required, together with knowledge of aviation safety rules, regulations and procedures. Previous Boeing experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete pre-flight safety checks before departure.
- Maintain operational communication with air traffic control throughout the flight.
- Monitor cockpit instruments for correct system operation.
- Track weather, traffic and aircraft position, requesting flight-plan changes when needed.
- Prepare flight and aircraft-status reports before and after landing.
Requirements
- Hold a valid EASA ATPL or CPL.
- Hold a valid EASA Part-MED Class 1 medical certificate.
- Demonstrate ICAO English proficiency at level 4 or higher.
- Have an aircraft engineering, aviation or related degree.
- Understand applicable aviation safety rules, regulations and procedures.
- Previous Boeing experience is preferred.
