Overview
Cargolux is recruiting First Officers to operate Boeing 747-8F and 747-400F aircraft from Luxembourg. The permanent, full-time opportunity joins a long-haul cargo operation serving an extensive international network. New pilots enter at a grade aligned with prior experience and work in a multicultural, team-oriented environment focused on safety, service quality and reliable global operations. Applicants need professional European licensing, substantial multicrew experience on qualifying turbine aircraft and the ability to establish employment eligibility in Luxembourg. The role also requires candidates to complete security and medical screening and to transfer their licence to Luxembourg after joining.
Requirements
- Hold an EASA Part-FCL ATPL or a CPL/IR with completed ATPL theory.
- Hold a valid EASA Part-MED Class 1 medical certificate.
- Have at least 1,500 hours on multi-pilot, multi-engine jets or qualifying large turboprops.
- Have completed at least upper-secondary education.
- Be authorized to live and work in Luxembourg.
- Demonstrate ICAO English Level 4 or higher; Level 6 is preferred.
- Be able to pass security vetting and a pre-employment medical assessment.
- Agree to transfer the licence to a Luxembourg-issued EASA licence.
