Solairus Aviation is recruiting a full-time Gulfstream G700 Captain for an operation at Van Nuys Airport (KVNY). The captain is responsible for safe aircraft operation, thorough preflight planning and completion of trip paperwork. The official role specifies 3,000 total hours and 1,500 PIC hours, a G700 or comparable-aircraft type rating, first class medical, annual international procedures training and residence within a two-hour drive of KVNY or relocation.
Responsibilities
Review aircraft maintenance status, carry out preflight inspections, assess weather and airports, operate under company procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations, protect passengers and crew, and complete trip records.
Requirements
- 3,000 hours total time; 1,500 PIC; 1,500 multi-engine land; 500 multi-engine PIC; 500 turbojet; 250 instrument. Type rating on the advertised Gulfstream or comparable aircraft, first class medical, on-call availability and annual ICAO international procedures training. Live within a two-hour drive of the operating airport or relocate.
