Overview
Teach German Air Force initial flight training theory to groups of about eight officers or officer cadets during a four-week theoretical phase. Subjects include aircraft systems and propulsion, navigation, air law, communication, meteorology, human performance, aerodynamics and aircraft performance. Full-time direct entry in Laage, starting 1 January 2027 for two years.
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured training and assessment within the scope of the advertised role.
- Maintain accurate standards, records, and feedback for each training activity.
- Promote consistent safety, procedural discipline, and professional development.
Requirements
- Several years as a civilian or military theory or flight instructor, or a degree in one of the advertised subjects. Teaching and adult education experience preferred. Pedagogical skills, clear explanations, interpersonal and motivational skills, adaptability, very good English and MS Office proficiency.
