Overview
The full-time Captain joins Gama Aviation’s UK medical repatriation crew, flying its King Air fleet from Bournemouth. The multi-crew air ambulance operation serves contracts with Guernsey, Jersey and insurance or assistance providers. The post has a rostered working pattern with equal time off.
Responsibilities
- Exercise command responsibility with safety-first operational decision making.
- Lead crew coordination, briefings, and SOP-compliant flight operations.
- Maintain effective threat-and-error management throughout each duty.
Requirements
- UK CAA CPL with multi-engine instrument rating. Current King Air 200 type rating and at least 500 hours on type; at least 1,500 total flight hours. Successful command assessment. Knowledge of AOC requirements, basic Microsoft Office skills and flexible rostering. Live within 60 minutes of Bournemouth Airport or be willing to relocate.
