Overview
This full-time flight-deck position serves a Solairus Aviation operation based at Hillsboro Airport, Oregon. The Captain plans and conducts Global 5000 and Global 7500 flights, checks aircraft readiness, weather and airport facilities, and protects passengers and crew through compliance with company procedures and applicable federal regulations. Candidates must meet the experience, medical, training and residence conditions listed below.
Responsibilities
Check maintenance status and conduct preflight inspections. Evaluate route weather, destination and alternate facilities. Command flights in accordance with company procedures and federal aviation rules. Complete trip records and maintain passenger and crew safety.
Requirements
- 3,000 total hours; 1,500 PIC; 1,500 multi-engine land; 500 MEL PIC; 500 turbojet; 250 instrument. Type rating on Global 5000, Global 7500 or comparable aircraft. First-class medical. Residence within four hours of KHIO or willingness to relocate. On-call availability and annual ICAO international-procedures training.
