Overview
Solairus Aviation is recruiting a full-time Falcon 2000LX Captain for a commutable operation in Southern California. The role covers safe flight operations, aircraft readiness, flight preparation and accurate trip documentation. The primary residence must be within the Western United States, or the applicant must be willing to relocate. The employer accepts a type rating on the Falcon 2000LX or a comparable aircraft. Applicants need a first-class medical, availability for on-call work and the ability to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
Responsibilities
- Review aircraft maintenance status and perform the required pre-flight inspection.
- Assess weather, facilities, routes, destination and alternate airports.
- Operate in accordance with company procedures, applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and the Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Protect passengers, aircraft and crew and complete trip paperwork.
Requirements
- 3,000 hours total flight time.
- 1,500 hours PIC and 1,500 hours multi-engine land time.
- 500 hours multi-engine land PIC, 500 hours turbojet time and 250 hours instrument time.
- Type rating on the Falcon 2000LX or a comparable aircraft.
- First-class medical.
- On-call availability and annual ICAO International procedures training.
- Primary residence in the Western United States or willingness to relocate.
