Overview
Singapore Airlines is accepting applications for its Ab Initio Cadet Pilot programme in Singapore. Selected applicants complete professional pilot training with Singapore Flying College in Singapore and overseas, then continue with the training needed for a First Officer appointment. Applicants must meet the stated academic, eyesight and minimum-height requirements. The programme includes a service commitment covering the training period and seven years after appointment as a First Officer. Recruitment is handled directly by Singapore Airlines through its own careers portal.
Responsibilities
- Complete the advertised professional pilot-training pathway.
- Undertake subsequent First Officer training after successful initial training.
Requirements
- GCE A level, Diploma or Degree; alternatively at least five GCE O Level credits, including English, Mathematics and a Science subject, achieved at one sitting.
- Correctable myopia no greater than 800 degrees and astigmatism no greater than 300 degrees.
- Height of at least 1.58 m for safety and emergency duties.
- Service bond for the training duration plus seven years from First Officer appointment.
