Overview
SAS is accepting applications for direct-entry E195 command positions, including experienced First Officers ready for command. Applicants may choose Copenhagen, Oslo, Bergen or Stockholm as their fixed base. The employer offers a funded type rating with a three-year bond and reviews applications continuously. Flight-time eligibility has three alternative routes; meeting a lower total-time route requires the corresponding higher command experience.
Responsibilities
- Exercise command responsibility with safety-first operational decision making.
- Lead crew coordination, briefings, and SOP-compliant flight operations.
- Maintain effective threat-and-error management throughout each duty.
Requirements
- Valid EASA licence and unrestricted ATPL(A), instrument rating and Class 1 Medical. ICAO English Level 5 or 6; unrestricted EU work rights; clean criminal record. Flight-time alternatives: 4000 total hours including 250 PIC/PICUS; OR 3500 total including 500 PIC on aircraft over 16 tonnes; OR 3000 total including 1000 PIC on aircraft over 16 tonnes. All requirements and licences must be valid at application.
