Overview
SAS offers permanent A320 Captain positions in Copenhagen and Stockholm, with full-time or 83.3% seasonal part-time contracts. The recruitment process includes CV screening, recruiter interview, online tests, simulator and group assessments, and final security checks. Type training is funded with a three-year bond. Base availability and start dates depend on operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Exercise command responsibility with safety-first operational decision making.
- Lead crew coordination, briefings, and SOP-compliant flight operations.
- Maintain effective threat-and-error management throughout each duty.
Requirements
- Unrestricted EASA ATPL(A), valid Class 1 medical and instrument rating; ICAO English 5 or 6; unrestricted EU work and residence rights; clean criminal record. At least 4000 total hours, 2000 on jets or high-speed turboprops, and 1000 PIC on aircraft above 55 tonnes MTOW. Winter operations experience. Non-Scandinavian EASA licence conversion before course start where required.
