Overview
Mountain Air Cargo, a FedEx feeder operator, recruits a Cessna 408 SkyCourier Captain Floater. The official vacancy specifies Remote (US); no single city is assigned. This publication covers the Captain opening only. Duties include aircraft operation under approved manuals, weight and balance, cargo loading oversight, flight planning and accurate paperwork. The schedule is four weeks on and one week off with paid time off. Pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing apply.
Responsibilities
- Exercise command responsibility with safety-first operational decision making.
- Lead crew coordination, briefings, and SOP-compliant flight operations.
- Maintain effective threat-and-error management throughout each duty.
Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot MEL; 1800 total hours; 300 MEL; 500 PIC; 500 cross-country; 100 night; 100 instrument including 75 in aircraft; 100 turbine. IFR proficiency and currency, current passport and US citizenship or work authorization. Ability to obtain a C408 type rating. Employer may consider exceptions based on prior experience.
