Overview
Edelweiss Air AG is seeking an experienced A350 Commander to work on a freelance, part-time basis from Zurich/Kloten. The captain leads the crew and takes responsibility for safe and efficient flight operations, preparation and flight conduct in line with legal requirements and company operating standards. The role calls for leadership, current systems and procedural knowledge, and a focus on punctuality, quality and crew performance. Responsibilities
- Exercise command responsibility with safety-first operational decision making.
- Lead crew coordination, briefings, and SOP-compliant flight operations.
- Maintain effective threat-and-error management throughout each duty.
Requirements
- EASA ATPL with an A350 type rating; at least 5000 total flight hours including long-haul operational experience; at least 1500 hours as Commander on Airbus A3XX; valid Class 1 medical; German at C1 or higher and English at B2/ICAO 4; Swiss or EU-27/EFTA citizenship; strong leadership and teamwork.
