La Compagnie

Introduction

La Compagnie, officially known as Dreamjet, is a French boutique airline headquartered in Arcueil in the Paris metropolitan area. It operates an all-business class model, offering premium transatlantic flights between Paris Orly (ORY) and New York (EWR), as well as Milan Malpensa (MXP) and New York (EWR). In addition, a seasonal summer route connects Nice (NCE) with New York (EWR).

With a fleet composed of 2 Airbus A321LR aircraft configured in a full business-class layout (76 seats), La Compagnie has built a strong reputation for providing comfort at competitive prices. Its small scale, innovative concept, and unique positioning in the market make it an attractive option for pilots seeking a more personalized and premium flying experience compared to larger low-cost or legacy carriers.

The recruitment and assessment process reflects the airline’s boutique identity: it focuses on technical competence, professionalism, and strong customer service awareness.

What happens after submitting your application?

If your profile is shortlisted, you will first receive a phone call from HR. This call confirms your continued interest, availability, and allows you to pick an interview slot from the remaining times. Once confirmed, you receive an official email invitation to the assessment.

Tip: This is your first direct contact with the recruitment team. Make sure to sound professional, be clear about your availability, and show enthusiasm for the opportunity. A positive impression at this stage sets the tone for the rest of the process.

How is the selection day structured?

The process usually takes place over a single day, with around ten candidates invited per session.

    • “Would you not get bored flying the same routes repeatedly?”
    • “What would be a deal-breaker that would prevent you from accepting our job offer?”
    • “How far do you live from the headquarters in Arcueil?”
  2. Written knowledge test
