Avion Express, part of the Avia Solutions Group, has grown into one of Europe’s largest ACMI and charter operators. Established in 2005 and headquartered in Vilnius (Lithuania), the company now supports clients across Europe, Asia, South America.
Operations are centered around ACMI (wet lease) and charter services.
Fleet: About 45 Airbus A320 and A321.
Here is what they offer:
Standard roster pattern: 22 days ON (including POS) / 8 days OFF for European bases, 30/15 for non-European bases in the summer, 33/13 for non-European bases in the winter;
- About one month of paid annual leave;
- All positioning flights covered, with 4-star hotels or apartments provided;
- Health & travel insurance, including loss of licence protection;
- Opportunities for command upgrade and to join the training department;
The screening is divided into three parts. You will find below explanations regarding each of these parts.
The online assessment are divided in 3 parts.
Total duration: ~3 hours
Format: online, webcam enabled
A personality inventory using a four-point scale (Strongly Disagree → Strongly Agree).
There are no right or wrong answers.
Tip: Avoid extreme answers for every item; aim for balanced, honest responses.
Completed through a third-party platform. Expect standard aptitude tasks:
• Spatial awareness
• Multitasking
• Short-term memory
• Simple mental arithmetic
Training resources: Pilotest, etc.
• Duration: ~30 minutes
• 60 questions covering fundamental A320 systems — similar to type-rating school content.
Tip: Many questions closely resemble items from common type rating question banks.

After completing the assessments, HR will contact you to arrange the next step.
This second step of the interview is divided into 3 parts.
Duration: ~30 minutes
Format: video interview
Interview panel: Psychologist + TRE + HR

• Location: BAA Training Vilnius or Barcelona
• Transport and accommodation provided (usually 1 night before + 1 night after)
• Documents/charts/checklists/briefing pack provided
You will meet the TRE about one hour before the session for a briefing and a document check (licence, medical, hours on type, short introduction).
